Granola Bars


- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup honey
Blend over low heat with whisk

- 4 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup almonds
- 1 cup diced dates (we used chocolate chips :)
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Mix and add to honey mixture

- 3 egg whites
Beat until stiff and fold into granola mix.

Put into 9x13 pan and bake @ 350F for 25 to 30 min until lightly browned.

*optional* 1 pkg. butterscotch chips melted with a little oil spread on top.
