1 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup corn syrup
6 cups rice krispies
1 (6 oz.) bag chocolate chips
1 (6 oz.) bag butterscotch chips
-In large saucepan combine sugar and corn syrup, bring to a boil; remove from heat.
-Stir in peanut butter.
-Add rice krispies and mix until well blended.
-Press into buttered 9x13 pan.
-In saucepan melt together chocolate and butterscotch chips
-Spread over top of rice krispies.
-Cool.

Double Brownies
*WARNING* THESE ARE WAY TO ADDICTING, MAKE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!

Chocolate layer:
2 eggs
1 cup white sugar
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 cup butter or margarine
-Beat 2 eggs until foamy
-Add white sugar, flour, nuts and salt.
-Melt margarine and cocoa together in saucepan over low heat.
-Add to egg mixture and blend well.
-Spread in greased 9x13 pan.
-Set aside
Butterscotch layer:
1/2 cup Butter or Margarine
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
-In clean bowl cream butter with brown sugar.
-Add 2 eggs and vanilla.
-Beat until well mixed.
-Mix in flour, salt and walnuts.
-Spoon over chocolate layer in small blobs.
-Spread as best as you can.
-Bake @350F for 30 min. until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan.
-Cool.
Icing:
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 tbsp. milk
1 1/2 cups icing (confectioners) sugar
-Bring butter, brown sugar and milk to a boil in saucepan.
-Simmer for 2 minuets.
-Cool (I didn't :)
-Stir in icing sugar, adding more sugar or milk if necessary to make consistency for easy spreading.
-Spread over cooled squares.
Drizzle:
2/3 cup semisweet chocolate
1 tbsp. butter or margarine
-Melt together over hot water and drizzle over icing.
-Cut into 54 squares.
-ENJOY! :)

-Mix the crust ingredients well; pat into bottom and about 1/4" up the sides of un-greased 9X13 pan.
-Beat all filling ing. together and pour into crust.
-Bake @325F for 40-45 min.
-Let cool and cut into squares

38-40 reese's peanut butter cups miniatures
1 cup butter or margarine
1 1/4 cups cocoa, divided
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract, divided
1 3/4 cups all-pourpose flour
1 can (14oz.) sweetened condensed milk
1 jar (7oz.) marshmallow creme
1/2 cup coarsely chopped peanuts
-Heat oven to 350F.
-Line 9X13 baking pan with foil (extended up the sides), grease foil.
-Remove wrappers from peanut butter cups, cut each cup into 4 pieces, set aside.
-Melt butter
-Stir in 3/4 cup cocoa until smooth
-Add sugar, 3 eggs, and 1 tsp. vanilla and blend well.
-Blend in flour and spread in prepared pan
-Bake 15 min.
-Meanwhile, combine sweetened condensed milk remaining egg, and remaining 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
-Pour over baked layer.
-Return to oven and bake for 20-25 min. or until set.
-Place marshmallow creme by heaping teaspoonfuls over hot surface.
-Allow to soften about 5 minuets; carefully spread over surface.
-Immediately sprinkle peanut butter pieces and peanuts over marshmallow creme.
-Cool completely in pan.

Oh Henry Butterscotch
Whole graham crackers
3/4 cup Butter or margarine
2/3 cup Brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup Milk
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 1/4 cups Graham cracker crumbs
Whole graham crackers
-Line ungreased 9x9-inch pan with whole crackers, trimming to fit.
-Combine butter, sugar, milk and vanilla in large saucepan. Bring to boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
-Stir in crumbs. Pour over crackers in pan.
-Cover with layer of whole crackers, trimming to fit. Cool. Ice with butter Icing. Cut into 36 squares.
Icing
1 1/2 cups Icing sugar
3 tbsp. butter or margarine
1 1/2 tbsp. Water
1/2 tsp. vanilla
-Beat all together in small bowl.
-Add more water if icing seems to stiff to spread or more icing sugar if it is too runny to hold its position wherever it is spread.
5 Minute Fudge
2/3 cup Carnation milk (may need more)
1 2/3 cup white sgar
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 1/2 cups semi sweet chips
1/2 cups chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla
- Mix butter, milk and sugar.
- Bring to boil over medium heat.
- Cook for 5 minutes stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and stir in rest of ingredients.
- Stir until smooth
- Pour into 8 inch pan with waxed paper lining.
- Chill

OPTIONAL
1/2 cup walnuts
1 cup chocolate chips
Directions
- Mix sugar and cocoa in bowl
-Beat in butter, eggs and vanilla (beat well)
-Add flour and salt
-Mix until blended
-Stir in walnuts and/or chocolate chips if desired
-Pour into 9x13 pan
-Bake at 375F for 20 to 25 minutes
-Ice when cooled
p.s. If we use chocolate chips we don't feel the need to ice the brownies :)
Nanimo Squares
Well with Christmas coming , I thought we would post some of our favorite Christmas treats.
HEAT:
1/2 cup margarine
1/4 cup white sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
Stir until smooth
ADD:
1 beaten egg
1 tsp.vanilla
Remove from heat.
ADD:
1 1/2 - 2 cups graham wafer cracker crumbs (just enough so base isn't crumbly)
1 cup finely cut coconut
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Spread in 8x8 pan and cool in fridge
CREAM:
1/4 cup margarine
BEAT IN:
2 cup icing sugar
2 tbsp. custard powder
2 tbsp. milk ( or more depending on consistency)
Spread over set mixture in pan and return to fridge to set.
MELT:
2 squares chocolate
1 tsp. butter
Melt, if too thick add more butter and spread over set mixture and refrigerate till hard.
