BLACK FOREST CHEESECAKE

CRUST:
2 cups crushed oreo cookies (about 20 cookies)
3 Tbsp. butter, melted

CAKE:
4 pkg. (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup sour cream
6 squares semi-sweet baking chocolate
4 eggs

TOPPING:
2 cups thawed Cool Whip Topping
1 can cherry pie filling

~ Mix cookie crumbs and butter; press firmly into 9x13 inch cake pan.
~ Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.
~ Add sour cream and chocolate; mix well.
~ Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low after each addition, just until blended. Pour over crust.
~ Bake at 325F for 40 min. or until center is almost set (knife in center comes almost clean)
~ Cool and refriferate for at least 4 hours.
~ When serving, top with whipped topping and pie filling.

NOTE: When we made it we omitted the whipped topping and it tasted just great without it :)
