Wonderful Waffles

Batter
9 cups flour
18 tsp. baking powder
9 tsp. sugar
2 1/4 tsp. salt

9 cups milk ( or until right consistency)
2 1/4 cups melted butter
9 egg yolks

- Mix flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
-Stir in milk, butter and egg yolks.
- In a separate bowl beat egg whites until stiff
-Fold into flour mixture.
- Cook on waffle irons.

Sauce
12 cups milk
3 cups sugar

6 tbsp Flour
12 tbsp. cornstarch
3/4 tsp. salt

6 tsp. vanilla
6 tbsp butter

-Boil milk and sugar on stovetop or in microwave.
-Mix flour, cornstarch and salt with milk or water until smooth.
-Slowly add to hot milk mixture.
- Cook until thick.
-Add vanilla and butter.
-Serve on top of waffles

I love the NEW blog look!!!! Are those Monster cookies, I see???

I can't even tell you what a hit those cookies were for us. You know we loved them , but at Christmas we made them to give as gifts. Now people as us all the time to make them.

I guess well try to waffles Next :)

One more thing, did I mention we really NEED a cow!!!

We LOVE milk and go through 1 1/2 to 2 gallons a day...then if I make this wonderful waffle recipe I need more milk....YES we NEED a cow!!!

Actually these cookies are "Cowboy Cookies", our favorite choco chip cookie recipe :)
