Banana Cream Pie

1 baked pie crust (cooled)
3 bananas

3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup flour
1/4 tsp. salt

2 cups milk

1 egg (beaten)

2 Tbsp. butter or margerine
1 tsp. vanilla

2 cups whipped cream

Directions
-Slice bananas and arrange in baked pie crust
-Mix sugar, flour & salt in a microwavable bowl.
-Gradually add milk.
-Heat in microwave or on stove top (stirring constantly) until bubbling.
-Mix egg with a little hot pudding.
-Put back in mic (stir after 1 minute) or on stove top (stir constantlly)and cook 2 minutes longer
-Add butter and vanilla.
-Pour pudding over bananas.
-Cool and top with whipped cream.

YUM! It's to good!!!

Not sure Arthur would want me to tell this on him, but he's NOT crazy about bananas...I bet you would never have guessed it by the way he ate the pie (more than 1 piece!). Later Elizabeth said Dad I was surprised to asee you eat the pie, you don't even like banana pie... to which he reply "that was the best pie I've ever eaten"!
