MEAT BALLS
3 lbs hamburger
2 eggs
3/4 cups rolled oats
Seasoning Salt
1 onion
-Thaw hamburger.
-Mix with egg, rolled oats and seasoning salt.
-Roll into balls.
-Put into roaster and bake at 400*f until browned ( about 1/2 hr)
SAUCE
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
4 cups water
1 can (10 oz.) tomato soup
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
water
1 can (19 oz.) pineapple tidbits
-Mix brown sugar, vinegar, water and tomato soup in pan or bowl. Heat until boiling.
-Mix cornstarch and water until smooth. Add to above mixture.
-Heat some more until a little thickened stirring often.
-Add tin of pineapple and pour over meatballs.
-Bake @ 350*f for 2 to 3 hrs
NOTE: If after 2 hours sauce is still quite runny you may need to add more cornstarch to thicken according to your desired thickness.
Serve over rice.
